It's Halloween!!!
And I didn't have to deal with a single ghost or goblin (thank God for basement suites!!). Now, before you think that I'm totally anti-kid - let me clarify...halloween candy is not safe in my house...I tend to snack on it, so it's an added benefit that I don't have to hand it out (otherwise, it would be "one for you - two for me", etc., etc...so I choose not to). On top of that, I did a 10 hour shift today, so by the time I got my running around done and got home, they were pretty much done in the neighborhood here...so I didn't really miss out on much.
The flip-flop between nights and days continues to be a bit of a bear on my system, but I think I'm holding up okay...I got all the bookkeeping work that I'd been working on done, and am now looking to do some serious work on the course. I have two modules to go before I'm ready for the midterm, so hopefully I can get them done by the end of the week and be ready for the midterm by November 10th.
I need to get a new picture up on here - I'll try to do that in the next day or so...might be able to get Gabriele to snap a quickie of me with the digital tomorrow...then I can put it up, and get some opinions as to my progress...and see if there's any change.
Eating today: I had a protein shake for breakfast, on the way out to Cochrane, along with some green tea, then had some of the leftover chicken, rice and some green beans for lunch along with an apple. Dinner was some shepherd's pie that I made at the home for everyone and some yogurt (fat free).
Total calories: 1984 (sounds like a book, doesn't it?) Fat: 14% (3% sat, 3% poly, 7% mono) Carbs: 53% Protein: 33% (man, I was actually OVER - must have been the shake!).
Off to do my abs and then get to bed...
