Sunday

Well, my hips are still bugging me, but they seem to have calmed down a bit. I may have to finally bite the bullet and use the gift certificate that I won at Heritage Pointe and use it on a massage - see if that rectifies anything. I think it's an IT issue, as the pain goes right from the top of my hip right down the back of both calves to my ankles. I've never been through something like this before - and I'm not enjoying it much.

Other than that, I sort of had a crash at about 4 am at work, and ate two small granola bars. 130 calories each, but I guess in the grand scheme of things, the only thing that might be adversely affected is my fat intake for the day - no worries, trudge on. I woke up at about 4:00 p.m. and made a couple of poached eggs on some yeast free toast (really yummy multi grain toast too). Sushi for dinner complete with a tossed salad, miso soup and some edamamme. So...tally for today looks like this:

1470 calories. 40% fat - of that, 15% Monounsaturates, 13% polyunsaturates, and 8% saturates - better than yesterday in terms of the saturated fats. My body seems to be remembering how to burn too...as I'm down again (according to my scale). I think I'll hide the scale though, so that it doesn't become an obsession.
