Wednesday's news
Woke up feeling better, which I guess is a good thing, given what happened yesterday. Problem is that I've been fighting a raging headache all day - not sure what's up with that - but even the ibuprofen hardly touched it. I'm no be likin' this - no be likin' it at all!!! I bailed on yoga tonight, mostly because I didn't want to end up having an anneurism in downward dog or something exciting like that.
Not too much exciting in the news - big brouhaha about Direct Energy doubling rates on household natural gas charges and whether or not it will prompt the Alberta Government into activating rebates a month early or not. I would think that this "windfall" that the government now has at its discretion may be just as good to be utilized in giving the taxpayers a break, but time will tell, I guess.
The head of FEMA got replaced and the outgoing head honcho tried to pass the buck onto the state and municipal government - near as I can tell is was the three amigos who may be to blame - municipal, state and FEMA who should hold the bag and use the outcome as a learning ground for not allowing it to happen again.
Okay, how did my day go? Well, it went something like this:
oatmeal and brown sugar for breakfast (guess there's going to be a pattern there)
Can of Ensure for lunch (headache had set in - I wasn't very hungry)
Tuna, whole wheat pasta and green beans for dinner with a bit of salt and some butter.
Total calories: 1459 Fat: 22% - 4% saturated, 10% polyunsaturated, and 7% monounsaturated.
Man, I wish this headache would go away!!!

Hey Kirsten. Sounds like you are hanging in there. Are you drinking lots of water? Might help with the headache. Actualy I always use Tylenol for headaches as ibprofin dosen't even touch mine. Diane
